WHAT TO EXPECT
✔ Led by UEFA and FA qualified coaches, our experienced team is dedicated to helping every child develop a lifelong love for football.
✔ We create fun, inclusive sessions where boys and girls of all abilities have the opportunity to develop their skills, make new friends and participate in small sided games during every session.
✔ Each hourly session is split into age specific year groups, with no more than 18 children in each group to ensure our coaching team can build a positive relationship and experience for every child.
✔ Our coaching syllabus focuses on creating, stopping and scoring goals, rotated on a termly basis to ensure we help players to develop the core skills involved in the game.
✔ We provide pathway opportunities for players with potential to progress into our Essex Select Academy programme on an invitation only basis or to be challenged by moving up age groups at each centre
COACHING SYLABUS
Ball Mastery
Every session starts with the players having a ball each, working on developing their ability to move, control, turn and go past others with the ball.
Stopping, creating & scoring goals
Our coaches will then deliver fun sessions based around a different theme each term, giving players an opportunity to develop the core football skills.
Small Sided Games
We believe that players learn through playing the game, which is why at least half of every session is dedicated to playing small sided games. During this part of the session we emphasise teamwork, understanding the rules of the game and transferring learning from the earlier parts of the session.
My son attended his first EPC camp in October half term. We had originally booked him in just for the Thursday but he pleaded to go back again on the Friday as he enjoyed it so much.

My 7yr old son has been attending for the past few weeks & absolutely loves it. He was welcomed into the group by the coaches fantastically & I would have no worries leaving him with the coaches at EPC if needed.

The coaches at EPC are fantastic, the children attending after school clubs always have a fantastic time and learn valuable life skills while getting some exercise and trying new sports.
