In the U14 - U16's age group our academy programme focuses on honing players technical skills linked to their favoured on pitch position whilst developing their tactical understanding of the game. Players are given the opportunity to develop their game with additional individual coaching as we begin to prepare players to progress into our partner college programme and senior football.
The U15/16 age group is the last step along the Essex Select Academy pathway before players progress into our partner football college programme at the Sigma Academy.
Players at this age group can expect sessions based around the key aspects of football - stopping, creating and scoring goals. Each training session will incorporate technical practise based around one of the key aspects mentioned, finishing with competitive small sided games. Players will get the opportunity for position specific work, which will enable them to further develop targeted areas of their game.

My eldest son has recently joined the EPC academy and my youngest attends the weekly early years session. My eldest has also attend the camps ran in school holidays.
Joining the academy is really helping my eldest work on his skills/technique and the ability for regular two-way feedback between parents and coaches is excellent. The coaches are all very friendly and I would have no hesitation in recommending EPC to any friends or family.

We absolutely love EPC! We do all the camps and my 6 year old is part of the academy! The coaches are all incredible, professional, fun, enthusiastic, it’s a joy to watch! My son recently started doing some 1:2:1s with Jakob who is an incredible coach, his passion and enthusiasm is second to non! My son adores Jakob and we will deff be doing more with him. Thanks EPC, glad to be apart of what you do! :)
